Specializing in supply and logistics solutions for its international client base, a privately held energy corporation was seeking a company-wide password manager solution to enhance password hygiene. After receiving a notification that several employee passwords were appearing on the dark web, the Houston-based company wanted to implement LastPass Business to simplify employee password management and tighten security.

Solution:

To enhance the client’s password security, IronEdge Group configured a LastPass account and management portal for the entire organization and provided dedicated, on-site support for every licensed user during the setup process. As part of the deployment process and project roll-out, the IronEdge team set up user training sessions to ensure every employee was properly onboarded and felt comfortable using their personalized password vault with its single sign-on functionality. Additionally, IronEdge linked the company’s LastPass account to their existing Office 365 accounts to leverage Microsoft’s existing security features and simplify the overall user experience for employees.
