Meet Rebecca Pfennig! As Project Coordinator and PMP certification holder, she’s an expert at keeping our team organized and on task with all our ongoing projects. Her fascination with technology and the many ways it improves our daily lives sparked her interest in a tech-focused career path. Aside from her enthusiasm for technology, Rebecca is a skilled musician and enjoys playing the flute. What is your role and what year did you start working at IEG? IronEdge Group Employee Spotlight
I am a PMP certified Project Coordinator and began working at IEG in 2019.

Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota.

What inspired a career path in technology?
I have always been fascinated by technology and how it improves our lives. I chose to leave a career in teaching and here I am!

Did you get a degree? If so, what was your major?
My Bachelor’s degree is in Music and I have a Master’s degree in Education.

What hobbies/interests do you enjoy outside of work?
I am a musician! My favorite instrument is the flute, and I play in church and community groups.

What’s on your bucket list? Any goals or dreams you’d like to share?
One day I want to learn to play the bagpipes.

What do you like most about your job at IronEdge?
My favorite thing is the great team of people I get to work with every day! There is a sense of comradery that makes IEG a great place to work.
