Outside of work, Rebecca is actively involved in her church and always enjoys soaking up the great outdoors with her dogs by her side. What is your role and what year did you start working at IEG?
I was hired on by IEG in October of 2021 as a Sales Executive specializing in business development.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Houston, Texas.
What inspired a career path in technology?
Originally, I was in the coffee industry for 9+ years and had lost my passion. I was looking at making a move to a new industry and the opportunity for Managed Services sales came up. I took a leap of faith and since have fallen in love with this industry and have cherished the connections made!
What hobbies/interests do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work I love anything outdoors—camping, hiking, biking, and playing with my dogs. I love ministry and am heavily involved in my church.
What’s on your bucket list? Any goals or dreams you’d like to share?
A bucket list item for me is to camp and hike the Appalachian Trail—Great Smoky Mountains! A personal goal and aspiration is to open a facility to provide counseling, legal and job placement services for women and children facing difficult situations.
