Meet Anamaria Drago! As Project Coordinator II, she works closely with our Business Intelligence team and is a master at keeping projects organized and on track. When she isn’t helping businesses harness the power of data, you’ll find Anamaria immersed in a fascinating book, writing fiction or painting colorful landscape scenes with her two cats near her side. I’m a Project Coordinator, working primarily with the BI Team. I joined IEG in September 2021.
How many years of industry experience do you have?
This is my first role in IT, I worked for 4 years in Finance in the UK previously.
What inspired a career path in technology?
I have been involved in many BI-related projects in my previous role in Finance, and I decided it was something I could always learn more about.
What hobbies/interests do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy reading, writing fiction and painting both watercolors and oil landscapes.
Where did you grow up?
For the first 14 years of my life, I grew up in Romania, and the other 14 in England. A bit of a mixed bag!
Did you get a degree? If so, what was your major?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology.
What’s on your bucket list? Any goals or dreams you’d like to share?
I would like to visit all 900 cultural UNESCO World Heritage Sites!
