Dear Clients,

Companies across the globe are preparing remote work plans in response to concerns about the spread of COVID-19. IronEdge wants you to know that we’ve got I.T. covered.

IronEdge is built for this scenario. We’ve been prepared for an epidemic like this for over a decade, not to mention prevailed through multiple natural disasters and maintained business as usual. We will be initiating our remote capabilities in full next week starting on Monday March 16th. In the event the severity of this pandemic increases, we will continue to work remotely and practice social distancing so we can be available to help you and your business.

Supporting Your Business Remotely

IronEdge has a comprehensive disaster recovery plan that allows our team to work in a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) capacity with no noticeable impact to our clients’ service. We run BC/DR scenarios internally multiple times per year to test this functionality. We had a total of four scheduled days last year where we worked remotely as an entire company, along with mandatory weather-related days.

In short, your end users should never know we are supporting them in a remote capacity and their experience should not change. We stand ready to support your staff members as they begin to work away from the office as well. As always, our team is here to help.

A Few Things to Note:

  • Supply chain disruptions exist due to issues in China and abroad. 30-60 day lead time for equipment is now standard for most purchases. If there is a need for an emergency purchase, your account manager can aid you in finding a possible retail solution. Please contact them for help.
  • On-Site Requests will be provided for emergency situations only. For the safety and well-being of our staff and yours on-site visits must be approved by IronEdge Senior Management and should only be requested for critical business impacting issues. We are unable to perform on-site visits to residential locations for any reason.
  • We have postponed our client appreciation party originally scheduled for Friday March 27th to later in the year. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we want to ensure the safety of our employees, clients, partners and the general public. This is a precautionary measure and we look forward to rescheduling this event in the near future.

The most important thing for all of us at IronEdge is to ensure we continue to provide the highest level of customer service to you, our clients, while doing our part to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19 in the community. If you have any questions about the continuity of your business or would like more information about the steps we are taking please reach out to your account manager. They are happy to review any questions or concerns you might have.

Thank you for your understanding and support,

Ryan Lakin
