For the 2nd year in a row, IronEdge, has been named to Penton Technology’s MSPmentor 501 Global List. This list is the IT channel’s largest and most comprehensive record of leading managed IT service provider (MSP) organizations worldwide. The 10th Annual MSPmentor 501 list ranks the most progressive organizations from around the world and from diverse technology and business backgrounds.

The 2017 MSPmentor 501 list, like the 2016 list, is based on data collected by MSPmentor and its partner, Clarity Channel Advisors. To be considered, MSPs were asked to submit confidential survey applications, along with 2016 financial results. Data was collected from February 16th to May 15th, 2017. When determining rankings for the 2017 study, the highest value is on revenue generated from true managed and cloud services, then onto professional services, followed by consulting, and lastly, hard & software reselling. Growth and other factors also play a role in the rankings.

Every company that participated in the study, even those that did not reach the 2017 MSPmentor 501 list, has been assigned a Total Service Provider (TSP) score. This number evaluates an MSP’s mix of revenue from various activities, including consulting, cloud, reselling and managed services, and measures their potential and sustainability in the industry.

IronEdge moved up 11 spots on the 2017 MSPmentor 501 list, from 2016. Currently ranked at 192 on this international list, IronEdge seeks to continue to grow and is grateful to have been chosen for this year’s recognition.
