Case Study: Intercontinental Asset Management Group (IAM)
Intercontinental Asset Management (IAM) decided to scale down their financial service offerings to specialize in one specific product area, resulting in a name change of their organization as a whole. As a result, IAM needed to update and migrate their existing email domain name to a new email domain. As a global wealth management firm, they are eager to maximize security to protect sensitive data and meet FINRA and SEC regulatory guidelines. Throughout the duration of the project, IAM excelled at keeping their environment secure and afforded the way for the IronEdge team to arrive on site without any delays. Once on site, IronEdge guided each user through the transition from start to finish.
IronEdge Group arrived on site to complete the required configuration changes and finalize user migration from old domain to new. This included reconfiguration of user profiles on individual machines as well as user passwords and access required updates on workstation and mobile devices. During the technical changes and updates, IronEdge implemented a stronger modern security technology and Azure Active Directory Connect synchronization (Azure AD Connect sync) services. This solution helped IAM not only from a branding perspective but also from a security standpoint moving forward in the future. IAM now has a secure framework in place as they move to a cloud-based environment.
