This quarter, we are excited to spotlight our Core Value Champion for Ownership – Tammy Chavez. Since March 2007, Tammy Chavez has embodied the very Core Value that she has now been named Champion for – Ownership. So, what does Tammy love most about her job? For her, it’s all about putting the pieces together in Agreement Billing—making sure we’re not only accurate and timely, but also constantly looking for ways to streamline processes without ever sacrificing integrity. In other words, it’s a little like solving a puzzle every day—only this one helps keep the business running smoothly. And speaking of smooth operations, staying true to the IronEdge mission of empowering local businesses with holistic technology support is something she takes seriously. She’s always on the lookout for tools that help the billing process stay lean, efficient, and effective. If you’re new to IronEdge, she has one big piece of advice: “Learn who does what here—it’s a huge win when it comes to solving issues as they come up.” Outside the office, Tammy keeps her positivity and resilience grounded in her faith. And when it comes to work-life balance? She’s found the perfect formula. Her hobbies—gardening and Disc Golf—bring her joy and renewal. In fact, Disc Golf isn’t just a pastime… it’s a stage where she’s earned two major titles: a Master Title Win for the FA55 and an A-tier win for the FA50 group. After nearly two decades with IronEdge, Tammy continues to embody the spirit of Ownership, making a difference every single day—both in the details of her work and in the example she sets for the rest of us. We’re excited to spotlight our Core Value Champion for Courage – Amy Frey. Amy joined the team just before COVID in 2020, so she is no stranger to change. In 2023, when LightHouse joined IronEdge Group, Amy always exhibited a positive attitude and embraced the uncertainty. Recently, she once again showed her courage to embrace change with confidence and determination as she stepped into a new role in Revenue Operations. She was nominated as Core Value Champion by Carolyn McBride, Director of Revenue Operations. Without hesitation, she owns every task delegated to her with diligence and independence. Amy shows true courage by proactively furthering her education and diving in headfirst, problem-solving on the fly. Amy proves that courage isn’t about knowing everything; it’s about having the confidence to learn, adapt, and thrive. She contributes to the IEG mission by considering how she can ease the process for the Account Executives on the team. She empowers herself with knowledge and asks even the most basic questions, so she can be effective in her role as a Sales Coordinator. Amy has been through all the good and challenging times in her career with the Company and notes that as IEG has developed, so has our culture, especially in the various ways we recognize our fellow Meerkats!
